I’ve been a professional photographer for over 10 years and have developed a photo-journalistic style of photography best suited to event and wedding photography. However, photography has been a major part of my life since I was a young child. I would take pictures of everything…and when I say everything, I mean the family, friends, and even strangers. Throughout it all I found that I love capturing the “real” side of people rather than just sticking someone in front of a camera. I believe that the most organic moments are when people are doing what they love. This type of photo-journalistic photography is embedded in all my work. While I do cater to my client’s desires and pose a couple or group when needed, I prefer to step back and let the event unfold in front of my camera. Once back in my studio/home I personally edit all of the images, balancing my customer’s tastes with my artistic flare, bringing to life a truly unique set of memories. My artistic talent would be nothing without my personal experiences of which I’ve had many.
I’ve covered it all from businesses, bands, interior design, events, weddings, portraits, births, to my personal and artistic photography. I also have a problem turning away a stray animal. I have a growing menagerie of two dogs Leo and Evey (both insane), Levi (my cat named after a cyclist), MooShu (the runt of a litter, but he doesn’t know it), and Kitty (he’s too cool for a name).
While I’ve been photographing for over 10 years, since 2006 I’ve been lucky enough to photograph over 100 of the Gulf Coast’s most beautiful weddings and events. Click on the following links to view more of my portfolio. If you want to see more of anything in particular let me know.
While I still love artistic photography I prefer to take part in people’s lives and capture the art of their life.
